The writer used to visit his friend Karl Steiner at the embroidery fabrics emporium at the first and second floor of the neoclassical building, known as Steiner house, designed by Arch. Matteo Pertsch, a student of the famous Arch. Piermarini.
Among the same walls, you can enjoy the large and bright charming apartment, with high ceilings and a unique glimpse of Piazza della Borsa.

10% agreement on the hourly and daily rate with the paid parking San Giusto.

The apartment is located on the second floor of a period building without a lift.

The 110 sqm apartment consists of three large bedrooms each with a portable fan, a bright living room with dining table and a comfortable sofa, a complete bathroom with shower (you have to go up two steps to access it) and a bathroom of service with Sanitrit.
Other services available to guests: free unlimited wifi, baby bed and high chair, iron and clothesline, display fireplace and non-functioning.

Music lovers will be able to fill the room with notes, delighting on a piano from the early 1900s, while the other guests immerse themselves in reading the many books available to them.

The original karst stone sink, recalled by the wall insert at the entrance of the corridor, characterizes the kitchen area, fully equipped for every need such as a moka pot, dishwasher, electric kettle and traditional oven.


The tourist tax not included in the rate, will be withdrawn in cash upon arrival, is € 2,00 per night per person.
IDs of all residents must be shown upon check-in, as required by Italian law.

For check ins after 21,30 we ask for a surcharge, the amount is as follows:

* after 21,30 until 23 there is a surcharge of 25 Euro;
* after 23 until midnight there is a surcharge of 30 Euro;
* after midnight and until 1,30 there is a surcharge of 40 Euro
Sorry but it's not possible to check in after 1,30.

A 2-minute walk from Piazza Unità d'Italia and the Opera House, from Piazza Ponterosso and the Roman Theater, just 5 from the Audace Pier and the sea.
The house is located next to the pedestrian and shopping area, served by the main public transportation, only 80 meters way from the Taxi-stop area.
The railway station and the bus terminal are just at 10-minute walk, while the cruise terminal (Costa, Cunard, TUI etc ...) only at 5.
You’ll also find a grocery/market shop at 50 meters, several banks/ATMs, the main lounge bars, restaurants and downtown buffets.
Free parking spots can be found in the neighbourhood, otherwise public parking services are available close by.

The apartment is suitable for discovering Trieste and its hidden corners, for business, for families, couples or groups of friends.
