Cozy and quiet 55 sqm apartment, which can accommodate up to 4 people, located on the ground floor (2 steps to access to it) of a period building. The property enjoys a strategic position, halfway between the archaeological area of Syracuse and the wonderful island of Ortigia (both about 15 minutes on foot), in a historic district of the city, full of artisan shops.
The accommodation consists of a living area with a kitchenette, a bedroom, a bathroom and a shared courtyard.
The inside is organized as follows:
- LIVING AREA: kitchenette (with 5-burner gas hob, fridge, freezer, oven, coffee machine, kettle, wine glasses and kitchenware), dining table, wardrobe and double sofa bed;
- BEDROOM: double bed, bedside tables and coat hanger;
- BATHROOM: shower box, sink, bidet and WC;
- SHARED COURTYARD with outdoor furniture (table and two chairs).
FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: air conditioning (split in the living area and in the bedroom) heating with heat pump, TV, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, drying rack, insect screens, umbrella, ice bucket and cooler.
Towels and bed linen included (with optional changes for a fee).
All guests' IDs must be shown upon check-in, as required by Italian law.
From 15:00 to 19:00, check-in will take place in presence.
After 19:00, self check-in will take place (free of charge). Further instructions will be provided a few days before your arrival.
Alternatively, after 19:00 check-in in presence will also be available upon request and with a supplement to be paid in cash on arrival, as follows:
EUR 25 from 19:00 to 23:00;
EUR 30 from 23:00 and 00:00;
EUR 40 from 00:00 to 01:30.
All requests for late arrivals are subject to confirmation by the property. The last possible check-in, even by paying the supplement, is 01:30.
The apartment is for the exclusive use of our guests and won't be shared with the host or other tenants.
We are very flexible and are happy to organize early check-ins/late check-outs when there are no other guests entering or leaving the apartment on that same day. All requests will be confirmed a couple of days before your arrival.
A member of our Team Siracusa will contact you a few days before your arrival to organize your check-in. They will meet you at the apartment to hand you the keys and they will be at your disposal for any information and further assistance before and during your stay. We are available by phone, or by e-mail.

The apartment is located in a historic district of Syracuse, full of artisan shops and services such as a pharmacy, bars, supermarkets and restaurants. The property is located halfway between the Archaeological Park of Neapolis (which preserves treasures such as the Greek Theater, still intact, the Amphitheater, the Ear of Dionysus, the Temple of Gerone and the alleged Tomb of Archimedes) and the wonderful island of Ortigia, with its seafront. Walking through its streets, it is possible to admire centuries of history, wonderful palaces, lively restaurants and cafes, as well as monuments such as the Castle of Maniace, Fonte Aretusa, the ancient Temple of Apollo and, absolutely not to be missed, Piazza del Duomo, one of the most spectacular in all of Sicily. In the summer season, you can swim off the rocks or near some small beaches and solariums on the waterfront.

A few meters away from the apartment, it is possible to find the "Sbarcadero" stop of the electric minibus (one run every 30 minutes, from 8:00 to 20:00, price of one-way ticket: 1 euro), which allows you to reach some of the main points of interest of the city:
- Madonna delle Lacrime Sanctuary;
- Paolo Orsi museum;
- Fonte Aretusa;
- Castle of Maniace;
- Bus and train station.
The main towns of Sicily can be reached by Interbus coaches from the central station (via Rubino), from where the shuttles to Catania-Fontanarossa airport also depart (approximately 1 hour journey).
- FROM CATANIA AIRPORT: it is possible to the apartment by taking the ALIBUS bus service that connects Catania airport to Catania Central Station, where you can take the regional train to Syracuse station, in less than 15 minutes on foot from the property.
Alternatively, from the airport it is possible to reach the apartment by taking Interbus bus, up to Syracuse Station.
